Who's Behind It

Dippold created the series and serves as executive producer alongside Murai, who also directed multiple episodes. The series comes from Apple Studios in association with Chum Films. The series joins fellow Apple TV+ original Pluribus (18 nominations) in what has been the streamer's strongest awards season yet.

Widow's Bay holds a 98% critics score on Rotten Tomatoes with a 93% audience rating, making it one of the best-reviewed comedies of the year. Beyond Rhys and O'Flynn, the ensemble is stacked. Stephen Root (Barry, Office Space) plays Wyck Crawford, the town's most vocal believer in the curse. Dale Dickey appears as Rosemary, a mayor's office employee who knows more than she lets on. Kevin Carroll (The Leftovers) plays Sheriff Bechir Clemmons.
