On the outside, curved tree branches form the roofline over a wraparound deck with an outdoor shower and fire-heated tub. The creativity continues inside with driftwood accent pieces and a bamboo rollout loft.

Wine Lovers' Bread Truck

A couple of vineyard workers break the rental cycle by transforming a vintage bread truck into the tiny home of their dreams in the middle of California wine country. This mobile tiny home has a variety of rustic design features and multi-functional pieces including a couch that's also a bed and table, a rolling stair-closet combo and an alchemist cabinet for their wine that's built right into their shower wall. The nostalgic truck also has a motorized deck that unfolds into a patio -- the perfect place to sip wine by any vineyard they choose to park near.

A young couple in Lakeside, Montana, is downsizing to a tiny cabin in the woods. Set against a gorgeous backdrop, this cozy A-frame cabin offers a skylight for stargazing, a suspended hammock bed, a stone fireplace and hidden art storage. Fun features continue outside with a rustic cedar hot tub perfect for relaxing after a long day on the slopes.

A Hawaii couple with four adopted children wants their own tiny house retreat where they can relax and recharge. Set on 20 acres of property high in the Hawaiian mountains, they want their 300-square-foot design to feel like a peaceful sanctuary with rustic farmhouse style, complete with an indoor/outdoor fireplace and a his-and-her bathtub on a wraparound deck.

An outdoorsy couple living in Hawaii finds a beautiful gem of a property on Oahu's windward side where they plan to build their own smart tiny house. Nestled in the Hawaiian jungle, their modern design features a private outdoor shower enclosed by banana trees, waterfall countertops and custom recessed colored strip lighting that snakes throughout the house.

Funky Desert Tiny

A free spirit has found her desert paradise and is working to fulfill her dream of building a tiny home eco-village on 10 acres in Joshua Tree, CA. This artistic endeavor will be quite the undertaking as they battle the desert elements and a tight timeline. The unique, transforming tiny will have two halves connected by an atrium and will feature multiple Murphy beds, handmade countertops, a mural and a rock garden.

Mountain View Hobbit Home

A family plans to build a low-impact hobbit house that capitalizes on breathtaking views and overlooks their barn in the mountains of North Carolina. The partially underground tiny house will have a rock fire pit and cedar hot tub outside, and a modern Euro-feel inside with plenty of built-in storage and floor-to-ceiling windows.

Tiny Desert Paradise

An architect takes his plans for a unique tiny house to the middle of the Arizona desert. The build will have legs so it won't disrupt the desert landscape as well as plenty of interesting angles and different uses of metals. This home will take open-concept to the next level with translucent window walls and a completely open kitchen and bathroom that allows the warm desert air to move through the house. Industrial elements are used throughout the build from toolboxes for kitchen cabinets and an airplane wing as part of the roof framing to Japanese-style room separators and an experimental hatch skylight.

A family has found a slice of paradise on a small island in the Bahamas and is ready to start building their dream home. Although this beautiful location comes with a harsh landscape and threat of hurricanes, the family is determined to have a tiny cliffside shack overlooking the ocean. The beautifully handcrafted house is sided in thatch and blends in perfectly with its surroundings. With its surfboard storage, deck flooring, outdoor shower and jaw-dropping views, this family's dream home is the ultimate place to relax.
