This artistic endeavor will be quite the undertaking as they battle the desert elements and a tight timeline. The unique, transforming tiny will have two halves connected by an atrium and will feature multiple Murphy beds, handmade countertops, a mural and a rock garden.

The build will have legs so it won't disrupt the desert landscape as well as plenty of interesting angles and different uses of metals. This home will take open-concept to the next level with translucent window walls and a completely open kitchen and bathroom that allows the warm desert air to move through the house. Industrial elements are used throughout the build from toolboxes for kitchen cabinets and an airplane wing as part of the roof framing to Japanese-style room separators and an experimental hatch skylight.

Although this beautiful location comes with a harsh landscape and threat of hurricanes, the family is determined to have a tiny cliffside shack overlooking the ocean.
