Synopsis
Eighty percent of Australian whale strandings occur on Tasmania's rugged coasts. Committed volunteers and professionals work tirelessly in remote and difficult conditions to rescue the whales. A successful rescue is cause for celebration, but the inevitable deaths still provide valuable research data.
