Synopsis
Memory and nature are pathways to self-discovery in “The Name of a River,” a short film exploring Queer visions and landscapes through dance and poetry. Movement communes with nature through the connection between the earth’s elements and the body to imagine new spaces for boundless possibility and liberated self-expression. In this quietly expansive dreamscape, Queer beings find ease and autonomy to live freely and safely away from oppression.
