Football or Soccer has had an interesting journey in America but one thing is for certain, there would be no Beckham, Rooney or Ibrahimovic in the MLS, without the LA Wolves. In 1967, the United Soccer Association gave the USA its first taste of professional soccer and Wolverhampton Wanderers were one of 12 teams transported to the States to kickstart the movement.
