Synopsis
During a period of isolation, the filmmaker returned to recordings of stories told by her grandmother, who shares episodes from her youth without sentimentality. Using home movies from her grandmother's life and her own as the base for handmade animation loops, she repetitively and obsessively listened and drew, using the cyclical rhythm of images and voice to open up space for reflection on heritage, memory, and the feeling of being stuck.
