Synopsis
Based on mega best seller novel by JS Khairen. The story follows two working-class teenagers from West Sumatra named Zenna and Asrul who struggle hard to earn money to support their families. They strive to live a decent life so that their children will not have to endure the hardships of the past—living below the poverty line. This novel, written by Khairen, was directly inspired by the lives of her father and mother.
