Synopsis
As corruption grows in 1980s Florida, a beloved and charismatic local sheriff hides dark secrets that involve the mob, drugs, and trafficking of local children. Faced with nonstop harassment and death threats, a local homemaker-turned-journalist, Lucy Morgan, uncovers the truth—and in doing so becomes one of the first women to ever win the Pulitzer Prize for investigative journalism.
