Synopsis
HEART OF THE SEAL documents the relationship between an Inuit family and a French ethnologist couple in the icy wilderness of Greenland over several decades. Using archive material intertwined poetically with the sobering present, the filmmaker creates a work about cultural practices and social identity amid external pressures. B.E.
