Synopsis
Documentary Today German artist Paula Modersohn-Becker (1876-1907) is famous worldwide. But during her lifetime, her unconventional painting irked her contemporaries as she radically broke taboos, anticipating both Expressionism and Modernism. This documentary portrays an artist who unwaveringly pursued her vision for art, ahead of her time and without compromises.
