Synopsis
Having lost his wife, Manjiro leaves the hospital alone and lonely. His only daughter, Yukie, and her husband are too busy with work to come and pick him up. Only Akio, a nurse, sees him off. Later, Akio's affair with Dr. Ishii is discovered, and she is fired from the hospital. With nowhere else to go, Akio goes to Manjiro's house where he lives alone...
