Over the past 20 years, the Boise indie rockers have churned out seven albums filled with melodic noise and hook-laden numbers. Along the way, frontman Doug Martsch has made a series of small reinventions while simultaneously refining his craft. It’s been three years since Built To Spill’s latest album There Is No Enemy, leaving fans anticipating the group’s eighth studio album.
