Elena Diaz was raised in El Salvador by her father and a disciplinarian grandmother. Elena is of Salvadorian and Spanish decent. At the age of nine she moved with her family to Southern California. Elena was an honor roll student who always had a passion for performing arts. She took private singing lessons, dance classes, and sang in her high school choir. With her mom's encouragement she obtained a certificate in physical therapy, but shortly after she decided to pursue her dream in performing arts. Diaz continues to actively perfect the art of acting by performing and attending classes.
