Aleksandar Đurica is a Serbian actor. He was 22 years old when the war started. Over the course of the war, he studied acting at the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad and participated in street demonstrations against the war and the regime of Slobodan Milosevic. In his 15-year career, Djurica has worked steadily in film, TV and theater, in Vojvodina and Belgrade. He has received several awards for his work, and in 2008 he was nominated for best actor at the festival Grand Off, European Off Film Awards, for his work on the Milos Pusic's film "Lullaby for the Boy." He currently lives in Belgrade, where he is a member of National Theatre.
