Nick Nicholson was one of many Americans to expatriate to the Philippines after the Vietnam War. Starting in the mid 1970's he became involved in the local film industry there as an actor and casting director, often responsible for finding as many Anglo-looking locals to play non-Filipino roles in local productions. He can also be seen in numerous bigger-budget American Vietnam War films made including APOCALYPSE NOW and PLATOON, often playing American soldiers.
