Ilfenesh Hadera (born December 1, 1985) is an American actress. She attended the Harlem School of Arts and worked as waitress for ten years. In her acting career, she has collaborated with world-renowned filmmaker Spike Lee after a role in Oldboy (2013). Her father is an Ethiopian refugee and founder of the African Services Committee, a Harlem-based organization that works with African refugees.
