He portrayed Dave Albritton in the film "Race," depicting Jesse Owens' journey to the 1936 Berlin Olympics. Notably, Goree portrayed Cassius Clay/Muhammad Ali in the 2020 feature "One Night in Miami," adapted from Kemp Powers' 2013 play. The movie served as actress Regina King's directorial debut.
