Stelios Mainas is a Greek actor. He was born in Ermoupoli, Syros on October 1, 1957 and grew up in Athens. He studied Business Administration (hotel studies) and later graduated from the Veaki Drama School in 1984. In later years, he worked as an actor in many of the central and regional Theaters of Athens and the province. He became more widely known with his participation in the television series Oi men and the ones who don't" and the movie Balkanizer. In 2015 he won the best actor award at the Hellenic Film Academy Awards for his role in the film Wednesday 04:45.
