Alan worked his way up the indie film ladder from production assistant to Gaffer to cinematographer and director, working on films such as Happiness, The Station Agent, Enron: The Smartest Guys in the Room, A VIGILANTE, Martin Scorsese Presents: The Blues, and many others. You won’t find him in the credits, but he also worked many days as an additional electric on The Royal Tenenbaums, A Beautiful Mind, and Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man. After decades on set, Alan got a chance to direct a feature film, Stargazer, which played a dozen film festivals, winning awards for acting, cinematography, editing, music, and directing.
