Valentine Walter Burch (October 17, 1886 - January 25, 1967) who was known professionally as Val Stanton, was an English-American actor who originally came from the half-successful vaudeville team with his brother, Ernie called Val and Ernie Stanton. He was most known for the films Stage Struck (1936), Prison Train (1938), Duke of the Navy (1942) and many more. Val was also the stunt model of Jiminy Cricket in Walt Disney’s original Pinocchio (1940). Val was also a successful athlete outside of stage work.
