Just Philippot was born in 1982 in the Paris region. He obtained a master's degree in cinema from the University of Paris VIII in 2007, and went on to make several short films, including “Ses souffles”, shortlisted for the Césars. He then directed the documentary “Gildas a quelque chose à nous dire”, with his brother Tristan. After the short film “Acide”, he went on to make the feature films “La Nuée”, which won a prize at Gérardmer, and “Acide”, which was screened in the Midnight Screening at the Cannes Film Festival. The same year, he directed “La mythomane du Bataclan”, a mini-series starring Laure Calamy.
