She was born on October 31, 1952 in London, England, and is the daughter of American writer and playwright Olwen Wymark and English actor Patrick Wymark, both of whom she credits with instilling a love of acting in her. Jane Wymark was educated a Birmingham University. She has appeared in a series of projects ranging from TV dramas to stage plays.
