Ivan Sergeevich Tverdovsky (Russian: Иван Сергеевич Твердовский; 26 February 1961; Shchelkovo) is a Russian documentary director and producer. Graduated from the Moscow Aviation Institute (1985). Since 1988, he has been a video engineer at the Videofilm Corporation. Since 1994, he has been a director of editing at the Russian Central Television and Radio Broadcasting Company. In 2001, he founded the non-fiction film studio "Point of View." Since 2001, he has been a director of documentary films. He has directed over 30 non-fiction films that have won awards at domestic and international film festivals. In 2008, he made his debut in feature film directing with the full-length film "An Incident in the City of M."
