Mel Lisboa Alves (born January 17, 1982) is a Brazilian actress and presenter. She became known for the character Anita of Anita's Presence. became known for playing the title character in the miniseries Presença de Anita (2001). She is the daughter of astrologer Cláudia Lisboa Alves and musician Bebeto Alves. She is the cousin of comedian Rafinha Bastos. She studied cinema at the Universidade Federal Fluminense (UFF), in Niterói, but dropped out of the course to pursue a career as an actress. She is not directly related to the Gaucho musician Nei Lisboa. In 2009, the actress declared that she was an atheist in an interview with Tpm magazine.
