Nicholas Fedorov (also known on the internet currently as Proxima64) is an artist, animator, musician and retro enthusiast who is best known for his work on YouTube bridging outsider lo-fi and CGI styles with often dark overtones and elements of magical realism, utilizing period accurate hardware (incl. Windows 98) and software with a real VCR to achieve a retro aesthetic in his own work. He has had an extensive history on the internet, spanning several previous channels (c. 2014-2017) which have garnered a small cult following and released a full-length album, High Octane in 2022.
