Babil Khan, an Indian Bollywood actor, has been garnering attention in the entertainment sphere with his innate talent and captivating performances. He is the son of the late legendary actor Irrfan Khan and screenwriter-producer Sutapa Sikdar. Irrfan Khan, Babil's father, was a renowned actor celebrated for his roles in critically acclaimed films such as "Life of Pi" (2012) and "Slumdog Millionaire" (2008). Babil pursued his schooling at Tridha School in Mumbai and furthered his studies at the University of Westminster in London. Upon completing his education, he embarked on his Bollywood journey as a camera assistant in the movie "Qarib Qarib Single" (2017). His acting debut came with the web series "The Railway Men: The Untold Story of Bhopal 1984" (2023), alongside Divyendu Sharma, Kay Kay Menon, and Madhavan. Prior to this, in 2021, he appeared in the English short film "The Mattress Man: A Yawn to Action." Babil received acclaim for his performance in "Qala" (2022), a psychological drama in which Triptii Dimri, Swastika Mukherjee, and Varun Grover also delivered noteworthy performances. His second film, directed by Shoojit Sircar, is eagerly anticipated.
