He grew up bilingual, raised by a French-speaking mother and a Dutch-speaking father. Initially aspiring to become a professional footballer, he attended a sports-focused school but had to abandon his dream at 16 due to an injury. Arno first joined his older brother, Average Rob (Robert Van Impe), as a cameraman for his YouTube videos, which feature extreme challenges and stunts. Before long, he became a regular on-screen presence, forming a comedic duo that quickly gained popularity. Under the nickname Arno the Kid, a name from his youth, he has become a well-known personality on the channel.
