Trained at the New York City School of the Arts and continuing his work at the San Diego School of the Creative And Performing Arts, Cesaire Jose Carroll-Dominguez is a filmmaker, actor, writer, and artist. His recent projects include the digital art piece Mapping San Diego and the short Regulate TikTok. He has contributed to performances by the art collective *particle group.* His work has appeared with or in Crossed lines and Imagined Theatres (the other balcony per Genet). His photography and film have received several awards, Including IVIE awards in 2021 and 2022. One of his films, Chicano Park: A Cinematic Poem, was an offical selection of the 2022 San Diego Latino Film Festival. Other pieces have been exhibited in musems such as MCASD and MOPA. He currently is a fellow at UCSD through the Jacobs Youth Community Scholars program, a member of the Outside The Lens Youth Council, and a 2022 summer fellow at the Reel Voices program in San Diego, California.
