Susana Miguel António

Susana M. António studied Communication Sciences and Cultural Management. She worked in theatre, radio, television, advertising and cinema. She was an executive producer at Sardinha em Lata, where she worked in several animated shorts, TV pilots and a feature film. In 2022, she co-directed, with Filipa G. Costa, and wrote her first animated short, "Melting". In the same year, she produced the first edition of Manifest - Mafra Animation Film Festival. In 2024, she taught Animation Project Applications and Production at Universidade do Algarve. In addition to continuing her work as a director and screenwriter, she works as a producer at the international cooperative COLA Animation. She has served as a consultant and script doctor to numerous film directors and producers.
