Mohnish Rajakumaran is an independent Malaysian director, writer, and producer. His films are characterized by his love for dialogue, memorable yet melancholic characters, and grounded, down-to-earth worlds. He has now directed a trilogy of short films, which are available on his YouTube channel, The Film Major, known as 'The Diary Trilogy. ' Beyond this, he has experimented with several genres, ranging from film noirs to dramas. His short films have screened all over Asia, winning a few awards as well as several screenings in the UK and across Europe.
