Jaime A. Coco is a filmmaker and film programmer from Valladolid, Spain. He graduated in Film and Television Production in 2025 and has worked in the directing and cinematography departments on various independent shoots, developing a personal language rooted in poetic and low-budget cinema. His most significant work to date is Amor Dormit (2025), an intimate short film reflecting on love and loss through a contemplative narrative. Alongside it, he directed Dormir mi Amore (2025), an experimental piece shot on Super 8 that expands the emotional universe of Amor Dormit through voice-over and visual memory. His previous works include Le Retour (2024), Cosenza 2023, and Sole – Summer 8 (2023). He also works as a film programmer and has a close relationship with the Valladolid International Film Festival (SEMINCI), where he served as a programming intern and was part of the Youth Jury at its 69th edition.
