Born: May 29, 2000 in Bogotá, Colombia
Sebastián David Moya Camargo (May 30, 2000) is a Colombian actor, director, screenwriter, editor, and film and television producer. He has emerged as one of the most multifaceted talents of his generation, receiving multiple nominations at the 2016 India Catalina Awards, including Best Miniseries, Best Screenplay, and Best Editing for his ambitious project, Sin Justa Causa (Without Just Cause). His ability to move seamlessly between high-impact acting on national television and technical control in independent film has positioned him as a leading figure among the new "total filmmaker" in Latin America. He began his career as a child, appearing in television commercials before taking on roles in anthology series such as Revelados (Revealed) and Tu voz estéreo (Your Stereo Voice) in the early 2010s. He transitioned to large-scale productions with a prominent role in Sitiados (Besieged) (2018) and gained critical acclaim for his portrayal of Mateo Sanín in the successful Sin senos sí hay paraíso (Without Breasts There Is Paradise) saga (2017-2018). Later, he solidified his on-screen presence with leading roles in productions such as Aunt Alison (2023), where he played Washington Rodríguez, and Romina Poderosa (2023), portraying Tato. These performances brought him national fame before he made the definitive leap to the streaming market. Since 2024, he has diversified his career by participating in international and independent projects. His role as Lucas Jaramillo in the third season of Manes (2025) for Amazon Prime Video and his portrayal of David Gómez in the biographical series Darío Gómez: The King of Heartbreak (2024-2025) are particularly noteworthy. In addition to his acting career, he is the founder of the production company MOCCA Films, under which he debuted as a professional director and screenwriter with the miniseries Without Just Cause (2025), a work based on true events that explores memory and forgiveness in Colombia. An artist committed to social storytelling, Moya personally oversees the assembly of his works, integrating a technical and narrative vision that distinguishes him in the current audiovisual landscape.
