An artist of theatrical origin with a solid career, he has been honored throughout his five-decade career with several important awards, including four APCA Awards, a Guarani Award, a Molière Award, two Arte Qualidade Brasil Awards and two Shell Awards, in addition to being nominated for an Extra Television Award.
