She got into the adult industry while she was training to be a chef at London's Blakes restaurant. During a smoke break Poppy was approached by a guy who asked her if she had ever done any modeling. One thing led to another and Poppy was quickly being photographed for some of England's hottest publications. She shot her first scene in 2003 but her career really took off when she starred in her very first feature movie for Wicked in 2004. As a performer Poppy was awarded Best Starlet at the 2006 Euro eLine Awards, that same year she also won Best International Actress at the Medien eLine Awards.
