This was the 4th movie as a lead actor for Shivarajkumar, directed by the legendary Vijay who is known for classics like Mayura, Gandhada Gudi among others. This was the only movie in which Dr. Rajkumar, his elder son Shivarajkumar and youngest son Puneeth Rajkumar were seen together.
