Aninka lives on a farm with her two conceited sisters, whom she must serve. One day, she finds a feather that she uses to summon Prince Vítek, who has been enchanted into the form of a bird. When her evil sisters discover that Aninka is meeting with the handsome young man, they take the feather, destroy it, and Vítek disappears.
