The story of 2 boys, one a swimmer and the other a dancer. The swimmer gets hurt during a mugging and starts to believe that his swim career is over. The dancer, who is deaf, stays by the swimmer's side during his recovery even though the swimmer is having a difficult time dealing with what has happened and is sometimes mean to him.
