Episode 1

YAU HOI has divorced with his wife TSANG CHUEN HEUNG for several years. On the one hand, he becomes a popular bachelor welcomed by his countless woman friends while she wants to rekindle the love between them and feels jealousy of the girls around HOI. Yet HOI feels no affection towards HEUNG. The factor contributing to their separation is that they often fall out over the constant demand for money from HOI's brother, HU. HOI feels indebted to HU who took up the role as the main supporter of the family when they were young. Though their family is not well off, with HU's support, HOI gets the chance to further his studies abroad and eventually becomes a dentist. With HOI's help, HU gets settled down and married. However, his wife walks out of the house leaving behind two sons with no one to look after them.… ...

Episode 2

In running the restaurant, HU gets involved with some gangsters from the underworld. HOI sends his son SING KUNG to help HU but he gets into conflicts with the gangsters endangering his life. Being cheated by the gangsters, HU runs into heavy debts. Again he seeks help from HOI who cannot offer much help. Urged by SING KUNG and driven by his love for his brother, HOI asks HEUNG for help. HEUNG gets hold of this opportunity to ridicule HOI but she eventually promises to help HU. Despite her help, HOI determines to work hard for more money.

Episode 3

While SING- KUNG is working part-time in a fast food shop, he meets DING SHUET MING and is deeply attracted by her beauty. MING is brought up by her mother CHOI HOI TONG who is a widow and a career woman. She devotes much of her time to her business leaving little time to look after her daughter. Therefore, there is a gap between MING and TONG. Owing to financial difficulty, the fast food shop is on the verge of terminating the business. Fearing that he nay not see MING again, SING KUNG feels depressed. Being aware of that, his mother HEUNG purchases the shop and this delights SING KUNG very much. MING's cousin HUNG TIN OR is living with them and her character greatly differs from that of MING. However, she always wants MING's company. Once she forces MING to join a beauty contest with her and the two meets TOM YUEN who promises to be their image consultant, and recommends them to go for dental check at HOI's clinic.

Episode 4

On meeting MONG, HOI is also attracted by her unique air of youth and innocence and takes great care serving her. This arouses misunderstanding on the part of OR when in the end HOI is beaten by OR. MING feels sorry for the wrong done to HOI and apologizes to him by sending him a little present. Hence, the friendship between the two starts. To prove that he himself is still charming as ever, HOI woos MING and is determined to settle with her. HOI all along wants SING KUNG to succeed him and become a dentist. However, SING KUNG's real interest is in hair design and he is determined to pursue his goal. Conflicts arise between the two. Hostility towards his father grows as SING KUNG realizes that HOI is courting his much-admired friend, MING.

Episode 5

Knowing his father too well, SING KUNG thinks that HOI is not serious in his relationship with MING. So he allies with HFUNG to break up the pair. TOM admires TONG's elegance and plucks up courage to reveal his love for her. However, he is coldly refused by TONG and he feels so ashamed of himself. Filled with anger and shame, he insults TONG and discloses MING's participation in the beauty contest. TONG feels infuriated as she is all along kept in the dark. She and MING have a fierce quarrel and MING walks out of the house. Out of the love for her daughter, TONG goes everywhere to find MING who is later impressed by her deep love. The two make up and MING decides to withdraw from the beauty contest. In fact, MING's character is quite strong and she longs for independence. Added to this is her Electra Complex which makes her fall in love with HOI, hoping that she can one day break away from the control of her mother.

Episode 6

SING KUNG tries to introduce other girls to HOI hoping}that HOI will be attracted by others and break up with MING. Yet his plan does not succeed and the love between HOI and MING gradually grows deeper. Despite there is some misunderstanding between them. Owing to the big age difference between she and HOI, MING does not dare to tell TONG about their relationship. Instead she lies to TONG saying that. SING KUNG is her boyfriend. However, TONG learns the truth and urges OR to ally with her so as to break up the pair. On the other hand, TOM tries to cheat OR into working for a pornographic magazine but luckily TONG stops her in time.

Episode 7

MTNG feels infuriated when she knows that TONG and OR are working together to break up her relationship with HOI. She walks out of the house lying to her that she intends to marry HOI. This greatly saddens TONG. In fact, MING and HOI are just taking a vacation in a villa on one of the offshore islands. Yet she misses her mother very much and in the end returns home and begs pardon from TONG, who can do nothing more but to let them get along together. HEUNG stills has the hope of rekindling the love between her and HOI. She tries her best to please HOI who is not impressed and feels no affection for her. HEUNG feels hurt in her pride and turns to TOM who woos her because of her money. SING KUNG feels disillusioned and hopeless though he still secretly admires MING very much. He is then taken to drinking and this leads to conflicts between him and HOI. MING gradually understands HOI better and better.… ...

Episode 8

In order to break up the pair, SING KUNG gets an idea. He and TONG pretends to fall in love hoping that MING can get a lesson from that. Besides, HOI also tries to stop SING KUNG from courting TONG. He points out the inappropriateness and in particular the age difference between them. Yet, SING KUNG uses the same reason to convince him of the inappropriateness of his relationship with MING. This makes HOI very angry and yet he can do nothing to stop them. HEUNG is furious when she learns of the love affair between TONG and SING KUNG. She scolds TONG fiercely and quarrels with HOI putting all the blame on HOI. In confusion, HEUNG gets inured and is taken to the hospital. During her stay there, TOM takes care of her day and night and she becomes deeply impressed. Eventually, HOI knows that SING KUNG and TONG are allying to break them up. So he announces that he is determined to have MING as his wife.

Episode 10

During her stay in the hospital, SING KUNG looks after her with great care and MING becomes deeply impressed. Later she is convinced that SING KUNG is the kind of partner she would like to have for life. On the other hand; HOI also feels that TONG is the kind of woman he wants as a companion. He is happy when MING proposes their separation. He plucks up all her courage and reveal to TONG his affections for her. Following the change in their attitude towards each other, SING KUNG now feels confident of wooing MING. Yet, this is a hurt to HOI's pride and he tries to stop the two from getting together. MING feels hurt and go to the outlying island hoping to forget all these troubles. On the other hand, HEUNG finally knows TOM's real intentions but she suffers loss of both love and money.… ...
