Not convinced that Ka Lam will do anything against his father, Shu Kai waits at her car trying to find out more. However, Tung Shing has already arranged to wreck her car which cause the accident. Trying to save Ka Lam, the car runs off the hill with Shu Kai in it. Mei Chi is shocked by the death of her son and at the funeral, she blames Tung Shing for causing Shu Kai's death in the public.
