Episode 1

When SUNG was still a child, he saw his father died for rescuing people in the fire. Then, he became a orphan and grew up in an orphanage, where he met his two life-long friends, LAU YI SOR and KO WAI TING. They shared their childhood together and built up a very close and intimate relationship. They are like brothers and sisters thereafter and were taken care by Principle TAO. Years later, both SUNG and SOR are working at the same Engineering firm. Owing to the carelessness of SOR, he causes a fire in an examination of elevator. Fortunately, SUNG is efficient to rescue a child named CHU. Afterwards, it is discovered that CHU’s mother is suffered from metal illness. Her illness burst out, when she is forbidden to look after CHU. Hence, she carries CHU to the roof and intends to commit suicide together. At that moment, SUNG, SOR and TING stand out to stop the over reaction of CHU’s mother……

Episode 2

Being as a production assistant, TING is in dilemma to deal with the news. After serious consideration, she decides to wipe off the film and resign. Ironically, TING’s decision has brought in the attention of producer, CHIU. HUNG has lost the gold that she kept at home. She accuses SUNG for stealing it during the chaos in the fire and prosecutes him. On the trial day, SUNG fails to show up in court but searches for CHU everywhere because CHU is missing suddenly. At last, SUNG finds CHU and brings her to visit her mother. It is also the wish of CHU to celebrate her birthday with her mum. In fact, SUNG always remembers the discipline of his father that doing the best of his own to lighten the life of others. TING was adopted and raised up by TONG and PING when she was eight. They both love and take care of TING as their own child. CHIU does not accept the resignation of TING, but promote her to be his assistant……

Episode 3

HUNG knows that SUNG is innocent and decides to withdraw her legal action. SOR has no interest in working at the engineering firm and resign. Though he promises SUNG to seek for another job, he is fooling around instead. SUNG is furious for SOR’s playful attitude and driven him away. Their friendship is broken up. SOR has no place to go and strays in the street. He settles down under a bridge afterwards. SOR thinks of the past and remembers the friendship with SUNG. When they were still small, SUNG always taught him and helped him to obtain good academic results; moreover, once upon a time, SOR had an accident, when he was waiting for his own father, LIK, who promised to take him out for fun. Luckily, SUNG arrived and saved his life. LIK did not keep his promise and never show up, since then, SOR hated his father very much. SOR understands that SUNG is not really disliked with him but wanted him to rectify his bad habits……

Episode 4

LIK searches and finds out where SOR is living. With the consent of SUNG, he moves in and lives with SUNG and SOR. However, SOR ignores him totally. One day, a motor bicycle knocks down LIK. When SOR is seeing the blood spits out from his mouth, he lowers the barricade and cries out father at last. But the relationship does not last long; it ends while SOR discovered that it was a plot played by LIK in order to fool him. SOR feels more disappointed and cannot forgive LIK. There is rumour saying that CHIU often beats his wife, Teresa. One day, Teresa visits CHIU in the TV station. She accused TING is the mistress of CHIU and smashes TING with anger. CHIU apologises for what Teresa has done to TING. Furthermore, he explains that Teresa was once an actor, she retired after marrying to himself. But Teresa becomes raging and violence since her miscarries. TING sympathises for CHIU after hearing the truth……

Episode 5

SUNG recommends JAN to work in the engineering firm, however, JAN is teased by the colleagues for his Chinese background. He is further amused by the colleagues and forced to eat dozen of hamburgers. Just when he is nearly going to throw up, SUNG arrives and takes JAN away. SUNG encourages JAN to live with dignity and pride, thus, no one can discriminate him. On the other hand, SHAN dissatisfies the regulation and principles of the children orphanage and turns away from home. SUNG invites her to live together for a while then. LIK visits his old friend, CHAI, who runs a production house. CHAI recruits LIK to be the star manager. Meanwhile, SUNG asks SHAN to take up the housework harshly. In fact, SUNG wants to discipline SHAN diligently. LIK cooks his traditional dessert for SOR, but SOR does not appreciate his kindness at all and pours it into the drainage. LIK is upset……

Episode 6

To be model, SHAN has to wear the bikini for photo taking; nevertheless, CHAI requests her to wear transparently for better gimmick. Luckily, with the help of LIK, she is able to refuse the job. TING worries that SHAN may be cheated and carried out indecent activities; however, LIK disagrees with her and highly recommend SHAN to see the world and adapt to nowadays society. Actually, it is not just the worry of TING, SUNG also asks LIK to pay more attention to CHAI. And, LIK finally discovers that CHAI has used the computer technique to edit special effects on the photos of SHAN and make SHAN nude in the photographs. Therefore, LIK steals away the photos and brings them home. SUNG and TING smuggled into CHAI’s office and take down his cheating act secretly. They bargain with CHAI and hand in the video in return of SHAN’s floppy disc. SHAN realises her innocent and willing to return to the children orphanage……

Episode 7

SUE is the girlfriend of KEUNG, who is allergic to the weight reduction medicine sold by WAI. Hence, she intends to reckon with WAI. There has been rumour about the metal condition of KEUNG, though TING and CHIU believe in KEUNG, they decide to investigate. YI is helping WAI to promote the medicine; SOR invites SUNG to help her. SUNG is reluctant but he still respects SOR and agrees to do him a favour. Meanwhile, SUNG discovers that YI seduces the hotel manager for an extension of their working hours. YI has given a bad impression to SUNG since then. HUNG’s adopted daughter, KUE introduces LIK to work as a direct sales. In order to earn more money by importing more goods, LIK borrows loans from NAM with the guarantee of KUE. SUNG visits CHU in the children orphanage and meets YI by chance. He finds that YI is totally different, when she plays happily with the children in the lawn. Therefore, SUNG refines his attitude towards YI……

Episode 8

Because of money conflict, LIK and KUE fight with each other at HUNG’s house. Suddenly, the balcony falls down, LIK is slightly injured but KUE hurts seriously and has the possibilities to become paralysis. LIK feels sorry for KUE and he withdraws his accusation on KUE. He broadcasts the tragedy of KUE and gets a lot of sympathies and support. His friends and others agree to forgive KUE and cross-examine the runaway boss too. With the help of KEUNG, TING finally meets SUE. SUE has suffered a emotional disorder and has a serious weight loss of eighty pounds only. However, she still refuses to visit the doctor. The setting in the hotel collapses suddenly, SUNG is hurt because of protecting TING and YI. YI worries that the setting cannot be ready on time because the colleagues of SUNG refuses to work overtime. Therefore, SUNG employs the freelance workers to help, YI is appreciated……

Episode 9

TING is send to the hospital, whilst CHIU reacts anxiously. SOR finds out that CHIU has fallen in love with TING, hence, teases him indirectly. TING is not yet fully recovered, hence, SUNG accompanies her to interview KEUNG. They find out that KEUNG is bribed for not speaking against WAI. SUNG successfully convinces SUE to face herself and the reality. Furthermore, he takes SUE and KEUNG to the press conference at the hotel. Everyone sees SUE is seriously under weight and realises that the medicine has side effects, whilst makes WAI very annoyed. YI also angry with SUNG for ruining the press conference. She takes off her high heel shoe and throws at SUNG. YI is further depressing for her career failure, when she goes home.

Episode 10

Eric is the boss of YI, but he always takes the advantage of the company for his own. Hence, YI make fun of him by tempting him to take off the clothes in the office and embarrass him. KEUNG proposes his love to TING and kisses TING. Thus, Teresa call upon a press conference to announce that intrude of TING ruined her marriage. SOR is strong objected TING develops further relationship with KEUNG, despite SUNG, TONG and PING respect TING’s decision. KUE is invited for a broadcast interview about her story. She says that she went to the South Seas with anger, when she discovered her husband is disloyal to her; but when she returned, she lost the contact of her husband and son already. Her story is very touching indeed. LIK is furious when he discovers that KUE pretends paralysis. However, he thinks of a method to earn money from the people who sympathise KUE……

Episode 11

SUNG discovers an old photograph of KUE, KUE tells him that the man and baby in the photo are her husband and child. Unexpectedly, the man is SUNG’s father, so SUNG believes that KUE is his mother eventually. But, KUE denies firmly. SUNG finds a pawn ticket for a lady diamond gold watch and believes that it is belonged to his mother. SUNG asks YI to help him search for the watch and buy it. The watch is crafted with words, it says, ‘Dearest KUE, I hope our love lasts forever! Yours KEI.’ Though SUNG has found the evidence of his mother, he does not tend to recognise KUE directly. YI participates a party at SUNG’s house, she envies the relationship and intimacy between SUNG, SOR and TING.

Episode 12

YI tells SUNG that SOR is just her good friend, however, SOR misunderstands SUNG betrays him and tends to flirt YI. YI speaks about her background with SUNG, thus, SUNG knows that YI is an orphan too. KUE does not want to pretend paralysis anymore, but owing to her great debts, she cheats seventy thousands dollars from TING with an excuse of operation. Whilst, SUNG borrows fifteen thousands dollars from TAO. KUE misunderstands that SUNG has stolen money from his company, yet, feels with regret. Finally, she decides to tell them the truth and the situation that she is encountering. SUNG does not blame her but gives the antique watch to her. Although KUE insists she is not SUNG’s biological mother, SUNG relies that he will treat KUE as his mom anyway.

Episode 13

HUNG drives out KUE, whilst SHIU is being chased to remit his debts; moreover, everyone accuses him for cheating. TING is requested by her company to take leave, as her relationship with KEUNG has widely damaged company image. Therefore, CHIU also takes leave and accompanies her to have the holiday in Canada. Teresa attacks TING with a broken piece of glass; TING is injured at the arm. Teresa flees away then. SUNG is afraid Teresa will hurt TING again, hence, he proposes his love to TING in front of Teresa. TING doubts, but her heart feels with happiness. SUNG explains to Teresa that her act is worthless and it is unnecessary to do anything for CHIU, as the love has gone and his heart won’t return. Teresa finally accepts the reality and agrees to break up with CHIU. TING declines the invitation of CHIU for the trip to Canada suddenly. Hence, CHIU goes alone……

Episode 14

Eric purposely pitfalls YI and forces her resign. SOR also follows YI and quit the job. YI has not returned home, whilst KA MING and SOR cannot find her everywhere. SUNG knows that YI will return to her old neighbourhood, therefore, he goes there to look for YI. SUNG tries to comfort YI, when he finds her. Furthermore, he teaches YI to ride the bicycle. Unfortunately, they both fall into the mud and make themselves dirty. SOR misunderstands that SUNG is flirting YI, when he is seeing YI comes out after bath. LIK helps his friend YAU to look after the shop and meets KUE unexpectedly. They start a quarrel and then a fight. Both of them are hurt then. SOR insists to accompany YI for an interview. They get in a taxi and discover that the taxi driver is a friend of SUNG, named DOR. DOR falls into asleep whilst driving, hence, causes an accident.

Episode 15

YI and SOR are sending to the hospital after the traffic accident. SOR is not injured but YI hurts her angle. TING finds out that SUNG massages the leg for YI, she feels sour at heart. KUE earns her living as a cleansing lady. Although the work is hard, she insists not to surrender the antique watch to NAM, who forces her to pay the debts and beats her. SUNG tells NAM that KUE is his biological mother, yet, he is willing to pay off the debts for KUE. Owing to NAM is also grown up with SUNG at the same orphanage; NAM agrees SUNG to remit the debts later. CHIU gives a piece of land and a pair of earrings to TING as presents. TING is surprised with thanks. However, CHIU notices that the cares and concerns of TING towards SUNG are extraordinary. It has beyond the normal relationship between brother and sister. KUE admits that SUNG is her son finally, but she forbidden SUNG to disclose their relationship or calls her mother in public……

Episode 16

KUE returns to live in HUNG’s house. SUNG suffers stomach ache suddenly, when he installs the aerial line for KUE. SUNG is having a diarrhoea, whilst KUE takes care of him gently and motherly. SUNG suspects the diarrhoea is caused by the expired cans that bought by LIK. Therefore, he asks SOR to withdraw those cans and do not sell them out. WEI invites LIK and SOR for dinner. LIK is drunk, SOR feels sorry to see LIK lying in the street, hence, he softens his heart and carries LIK home. On the other hand, TING meets SUNG and YI in the street. She sees that they are holding hands and get on a train happily. TING feels despair and lost. Having three daughters, DOR’s wife is pregnant again, however, the ultra sound proves that it is a daughter too. Since DOR often wants to have a son, he blames his wife severely. Because of family burden, he has to do several jobs……

Episode 17

Due to the greediness of DOR, he finally promises LIK to sell the baby. Therefore, his wife follows LIK and KUE home. DOR regrets afterwards, but his wife suddenly returns home. DOR finally realises his fault and understands the meaning of SUNG’s conspiracy. He thanks SUNG sincerely and asks SUNG to take him for the surgery. SOR works as a sales manager in WEI’s firm by selling the illegal imported handbags. To avoid his 3 colleagues being redundant by LI, SUNG resign. DOR and other colleagues’ feel thankful to his scarify and DOR promises SUNG to work harder. JAN allies with SUNG and resign also. He and SUNG perform the charity work the children orphanage, May Shin. SHAN misunderstands JAN that he is a lustful person. JAN does not angry with SHAN, but is attracted by SHAN instead. YI gets an interview, but Eric ruins it. She is so furious that she throws a vast at him. Eric dodges, but hurts himself carelessly and bleeds……

Episode 18

TING introduces SUNG for an interview at the TV station. However, she discovers that SUNG did not show up because of YI. LIK and SOR pretend as muggers and threat Eric to withdraw his legal action against YI. But, ERIC threatens them in return. There is a crack in the spine of YI, and her condition goes rapidly bad. SOR asks SHAN to pretend as prostitute and tempt ERIC. He wants SHAN to find flaw on ERIC in order to help YI. His plan fails again. SUNG thinks of a plan, he records the colleagues of ERIC, LULU has a bad habit of stealing underwear in department store. Then, he bribes LULU to help YI in return of the video. According to SUNG’s plan, LULU seduces ERIC and takes initiative to kiss him, whilst SUNG takes down their indecent act. ERIC is shock and afraid that his indecent behaviour will be disclosed and affected his relationship with the tycoon’s daughter……

Episode 19

CHIU realises that TING is still fond of SUNG, he decides to break up with TING and develop his career at the TV station in Vancouver. YI proposes her love to SUNG, but SUNG replies that they are belongs to a different society and cannot be together. His rejection makes YI very angry. LIK hears the gossip of KUE; she says that according to the fortune-teller, the thickness of eyebrows will affect the relationship between father and son. Therefore, he asks KUE to mend his eyebrows at her beauty salon. However, the technique of KUE is inadequate, hence, fails to mend the eyebrows for LIK but makes one indifferent to the other. Furthermore, SOR does not appreciate what LIK has done to amend their relationship, but teases him instead. YI goes to the Fung Wong Hill to see the dawn. MING insists to be her accompany. YI is moved by his sincerity and accepts MING……

Episode 20

The boss of KUE is going to immigrate, therefore, SUNG wants to buy the beauty salon for KUE. SOR spends 2 days in playing the computer game of his client; the computer game is burnt because of overrun. On the other hand, SUNG successfully gets the job and work together with TING. Although SOR burned the computer game, he is recognised by WEI ironically. KUE is drunk and LIK takes her home. He is attracted by the beauty of KUE and tends to take her advantage; fortunately, he is able to control himself at last. TING proposes her love to SUNG, but SUNG regards it as a joke and disappoints her once again. WING beguiles the people in the May Shin and intends to drive away SUNG. His conspiracy is exposed and failed at last. WEI gives the shares of his business to SOR and asks SOR to sign the imported goods for him. SOR feels pleasure to take up the role because he does not know that the goods is illegal……

Episode 21

SUNG realises that KUE does not want to be a burden and pretend to be degenerated by always gambling. He finally buys the beauty salon and renovates into both beauty salon and engineering company respectively. He then invites KUE to runs the beauty salon for him. It is discovered by police that the warehouse in charge by SOR contains a lot of diskette without copyright. SOR is being prosecuted. LIK prays for SOR in many temples, but SOR does not appreciate at all. Moreover, he blames LIK, who brings him bad luck. LIK begs WEI not to flee away and leave SOR to bear the crime for him. WEI beats him then. KUE accuses LIK in court, she says LIK admitted the crime after he was drunk one day. Furthermore, LIK told KUE that he is the partner of WEI in running the illegal business. Since LIK does not want to go to jail again, he trapped SOR to be his substitute.

Episode 22

LIK is confirmed guilty and is sentenced to prison for nine months. SOR knows that LIK always intends to do harm on him, so he hated LIK deeper. Whilst, SUNG discovers KUE assisted LIK to give a fake testimonial in court in order to help SOR gets rid of the criminal charge. Since SOR is still mad at LIK for doing such harm on him. Therefore, SUNG cannot bear not to tell him the truth and scold him severely. SOR finally regrets and willing to call LIK as father; furthermore, he promises LIK to rectify his bad habits. LIK feels contented. YI decides to marry MING, SUNG hears with surprise. YI asks TING to be her bridesmaid; hence, TING invites her to stay home before the wedding day. MING also asks SUNG to renovate the house for them, SUNG is pleased, whilst YI pretends happy. SOR is willing to take further education, however, he often falls asleep during lessons. Nevertheless, he lies to LIK and tells him that he works very hard……

Episode 23

KEI discovers that KUE has left the antique watch in a shop for repair and believes that he is able to find her this time. LIK saves WAYE by chance, so WAYE treats LIK as his patron. KUE intends to avoid seeing KEI, hence, she asks HUNG to tell him she is dead. KEI is upset but he discovers KUE’s name card by chance again. Because of the sudden appears of KEI, KUE remembers the happiness with him in the past. KEI visits KUE at the beauty salon, KUE disguises herself and tends to make KEI believes that he has find the wrong person and be disappointed. YI and SUNG has a quarrel, they fall into the bed. SUNG presses on YI and intends to kiss YI, YI closes her eyes and does not refuses; however, SUNG pauses suddenly and blames YI whom still in love with him and has no intention to refuse him at all. Furthermore, he imputes YI for not loving MING truly. YI smashes SUNG with rages.

Episode 24

During the wedding ceremony of YI and MING, SUNG cries out to halt the wedding suddenly. He requests YI to be true to her dream, yet, YI finally understands his efforts and decides to refuses the engagement with MING and call off the wedding. She runs away with SUNG in a bicycle. YI then stays at the house of TING temporarily. WAYE is released from prison, he asks LIK to find him after he is set free too. Furthermore, he says that he would like LIK to monitor his business for him later. TONG’s own daughter WEN comes back from United States suddenly. She loses her temper when she discovers that YI has engaged her room without her consent. KEI visits KUE at her beauty salon again. KUE knows that she cannot get away this time, so she takes out a photo of SUNG and LIK in order to cheat KEI. She tells KEI that she had married to LIK and SUNG was her son. KEI also takes out a photo of his son, BON. Coincidentally, SUNG meets BON……

Episode 25

SUNG brings BON to his engineering firm, and KUE recognises BON immediately. KUE finds that BON has hurt his finger carelessly, she is anxious. However, KUE does not want others to aware her extraordinary concern on BON, therefore, she has to pretend angry with BON, when he breaks the fortune cat carelessly. She then makes an excuse for unwilling to see BON anymore. WEN is fond of BON, thus, she gives up her academic and follows him to Hong Kong. However, BON has a lot of girl friends and treats her as one of them only. On the other hand, Doctor advises YI to have the surgery as soon as possible, but there is 60% to 70% of success for the surgery only. YI does not want to make WEN unhappy, she decides to leave. When she packs her luggage, she accidentally takes away the ‘Peter Pan’ storybook of TING. YI moves to live on the roof of SUNG’s apartment temporarily……

Episode 26

BON and his parents, KEI and LING, tend to thank KUE and visit her in the hospital. KUE sneaks out the hospital in a hurry and avoid seeing them. KEI knows KUE has rescued BON and believes that KUE is still concerned about them. However, KUE denies and requests KEI not to bother her anymore. Just when they quarrel in the street, SUNG and SOR drive along and see them. SUNG feels suspicious immediately. SOR suspects KEI is the biological father of SUNG and asks SUNG to investigate. LIK is released from prison. When he visits KUE, he meets KEI also. Hence, KUE makes use of the arrival of LIK to scare off KEI. SUNG discovers that KEI has an antique watch which is the same with KUE. In the conversation with SUNG, KEI also realises that the father of SUNG has died years ago and LIK is not the husband of KUE. Nevertheless, SUNG tells KEI that he recognises KUE is his biological mother just a short while……

Episode 27

In order to trace back the gorgeous memories, KEI and KUE visit the Lung Fung Restaurant respectively and meet each other by chance. LING misunderstands that KUE seduces KEI; hence, she smashes KUE angrily. TING sees the embarrass situation, therefore, KUE has to tell her the truth. She explains that KEI was her lover years ago. She found out that KEI was married later, when she was pregnant. Therefore, she decided to leave KEI and borne BON afterwards. Nevertheless, the biological mother of SUNG was in great debts at that time, whilst KUE was her guarantor; KUE was unable to pay off the debts also. Hence, she asked LING to rise up BON and promised not seeing him thereafter. TING teaches SUNG how to propose his love to YI, thus, SUNG takes out the courage and kisses YI finally. Meanwhile, YI discovers the ‘Peter Pan’ storybook of TING, and realises that TING is still fond of SUNG……

One day, KUE helps WAYE in the street by chance; WEI is attracted by the beauty of KUE and has fallen in love with her immediately. TAO signs an agreement with QUN on demolishing Yuk Tak Tong. Hence, everyone accuses QUN as witch, who plays hard to attempt her goal. WEN feels that SOR is very annoying. She pushes off SOR strongly and SOR falls into the garbage, whilst his embarrass situation is also taken down by the press and exposed. SOR loses his faith then. BON would like to organise a charity bicycle competition in the island and invites SUNG to help him. On the other hand, LING does not want to continue as the chairman of Yin Wai association and recommends the vice-chairman to take up her role. Meanwhile, QUN raises up her interest, which makes LING very dissatisfy. SOR damages the costumes carelessly, QUN requests SOR to compensate the loss with thirty thousands dollar. At last, SUNG pays off for SOR and settled the argument……

Episode 29

QUN knows that SOR has rescued herself, hence, agrees to cancel his debts. But, she abandons SOR at the hilltop and drives away in order to make fool of him. On the other hand, the father of the injured child, RICKY, would like to groom SOR as a star, and LIK becomes SOR’s manager also. In fact, WEN is also one of the artistes at RICKY’s agency, when she realises that she has to co-operate with SOR, she is very dissatisfied. SUNG is working on a project at the opposite office premise of QUN. One day, because of the computer is out of order; QUN is accidentally trapped in the office. Although SUNG helps QUN to come out, QUN misunderstands that the computer lock is damaged by SUNG purposely in order to make money. BON prepares to open a bicycle accessories store, but he comes across a lot of problems.

Episode 30

SUNG is invited as a guest and arrives earlier at the fund raising party of singer, DIDI. QUN misunderstands that SUNG is trying to take the lead and hated him more. Moreover, QUN also recognises the one who rescued her in the traffic accident is SUNG and believes that SUNG wants to take her advantage. QUN sponsors SUNG to win the bicycle fund raising competition, however, SUNG lose to BON at the end and makes QUN very unhappy. QUN also sponsors fifty thousands dollars for SOR to sing, who makes SOR very excited. Nevertheless, some record companies recognises the talent of SOR and would like to groom SOR as a singer too. WAYE visits KUE and invites her for dinner. He orders a lot of delicious food to thank for the help of KUE previously. On the other hand, QUN invites SOR as partner to participate the 25th anniversary party of KEI and LING. SUNG doubts if it is a conspiracy of QUN……

Episode 31

BON invites YI for the first dance, which makes WEN very jealous. YI invites SUNG to a superior hotel for dinner, it is because the hotel has given YI a very remarkable memory in her childhood. YI plays the piano for SUNG and teaches SUNG to dance. SUNG realises that YI is very talented, he is very impressed and kisses her in the rain emotionally. RICKY recognises the fame of SOR has begun, despite the sponsorship of costumes; he also provides SOR a car for transport. SUNG discovers that RICKY visits QUN in her office, he begins to feel suspicious about the generosity of RICKY. SUNG believes that QUN has a conspiracy, hence, he questions QUN for the truth.
