PONG gives up all hopes and MEI is sad to see this. She feels guilty and applies to the government to have PONG be released. PONG is not touched by MEI's kind act. He just want to take revenge. He pretends to be good in front of the others and in fact he waits for a suitable chance. One day he has a chance but CHING is not trapped. However, YUEN is involved and this breaks up YUEN's family , CHING and MEI are sad to see this. YUEN loses his mind and wants to go and kill PONG.
