Ka Ki follows the Dispensary Manager and discovers his packing workshop for the counterfeited Korean ginseng. He then reports to the police and involves Chung Ching in a litigation. Wai Kiu sees that Ka Ki has become melancholy as he achieves nothing so far. The former then lends all his money prepared for marriage to the latter. Ki and Chuan have a hard fight with each other. Ki iS eventually shot and falls into the sea. Sum witnesses this with pain and sorrow. Chuan wants to kill Sum so as to keep Ki's case a secret. Kit takes good care of Sum but she is not affected at all. Sum worries for Ki as there has no news from him. She hates Chuan deeply and goes to assassinate him alone. She fails and is insulted by Chuan. Kit gets back the business and would like to perform himself. However, Chuan has eventually usurped Kit's business. Kit is then degenerated as a street wanderer and is too late to regret. Sum then concentrates on her career as a singer and hopes to use her songs to awaken Ki .
