At the foot of a deep, dark forest lies the traditional Mosedal boarding school. Prefect Freya does what she can to make everyone feel good when they're at school. But when a new student arrives over the Christmas holidays, eerie darkness creeps into the old estate. Freya has a strange sense of the new girl, Azta, but is it just jealousy that starts to grow in Freya?

As Azta's knowledge of the other students grows, so does Freya's sense that Azta is doing things she should not. In return, she finds out something about Azta that scares Freya out of her wits.
