Rosa

A severed head is found in Orchard Road. The grisly findings continue with the torso and limbs of the victim, a Filipino maid. As Insp Han and SSgt Razali investigate the crime, they are surprised to find the trail leading to the victim's best friend, a petite Filipino maid by the name of Rosa.

Khalid

A settlement talk between two gangs turns ugly, and a Chinese gang member is beaten to death. When Insp Han and Ssgt Razali round up the three gang members caught fleeing the scene, each member blames the other for the murder. The drama continues in the courtroom when Vikram, a rival lawyer representing one of the other gang members, decides to take matters into his own hands and blindsides Jacob on the witness stand.

Mr Tay

A former psychologist casually suffocates his wife to death and then calls the police himself. His alibi - a 'friend' called Ah Boy told him to do it. Both the investigators and the defence team realize they may have met their match in a suspect, and client, who can manipulate and hit them where it hurts emotionally. Is Mr Tay really crazy, or is he just faking it to avoid the gallows?

Wati

An old lady is found dead in her home, and the maid, Wati, has gone missing. When Wati is found, she reveals a pattern of mental and emotional abuse by the old lady. However, as there are no signs of physical abuse on Wati, the lawyers face an uphill battle in court - proving that Wati had no choice but to do what she did.

Paul

Kylie, a fifteen-year-old schoolgirl is found dead of an apparent suicide. As Insp Han and SSgt Razali investigate further, they discover that not only was Kylie drugged and murdered, it could have been her schoolteacher, Paul that did it, as the two of them were having an affair. When Paul is arrested for the murder of Kylie, his wife, Julie-Ann, turns to a former classmate, Sabrina, for help.

Wang

A Chinese prostitute, Lily, is discovered by her roommates with over thirty stab wounds in her body. The prime suspect turns out to be Wang, a factory worker who was one of the last people to visit Lily. However, Wang claims he saw someone else in Lily's room after he left. Is Wang telling the truth, and if he is, can Jacob and Sabrina save him from the gallows?

Eve

A tragedy occurs in the condo of Eve and Jude Pereira when their maid, Gwen, slips while apparently trying to clean the windows. Eve manages to catch Gwen as she is holding onto the ledge, but she is unable to hold onto her. When evidence surfaces that Gwen suffered abuse, a sordid love triangle is exposed - Gwen was having an affair with Jude. Now, Eve might have a reason for not wanting to save the maid, even if she had the opportunity to.

Lydia

A young poly student, Mei, is found running through the void deck with burns, scars and wounds all over her body. She collapses and dies, the victim of what appears to be several days of brutal abuse. The trail leads the police to her classmate and friend, Lydia. But what motive did Lydia have for hurting Mei to the point of killing her? When the lawyers, Jacob and Sabrina find out, they are stunned by the revelation.

Steven

Gary Wee, a taxi driver is found dead with a stab wound through the heart. As the cops investigate his murder, they discover a darker side to the story - Gary and his girlfriend were involved in an online scam where she would befriend men and persuade them to strip in front of their webcams while he recorded the footage and then blackmailed the men with it. One of these men, unfortunately, took offence and murdered him for it.
