A man is charged for assaulting his girlfriend who lives with him. The victim runs off to her parents' house in Atami, where Kuryu and Asagi go to talk to her about proceedings with the prosecution. While Uno is jealous that Asagi is going away with Kuryu, Tamura is jealous of Baba's lawyer ex-husband who appears at their office to discuss with Baba about evidence submission for a case. Kuryu is transferred back to Tokyo Prosecutor's Office. His first case upon his return is a brawl at a pub where an employee was pushed down the stairs. Little did he know that the suspect in this case is the same person that is suspected of a huge jewel theft 15 years ago. As the statute of limitations will expire in three days, will Kuryu be able to find out if the suspect was the actual criminal?
