This collective dance of the satellites orbiting our planet is reinterpreted in this film through an exquisite light dance choreographed by Sadeck Waff. Where the likes of Musk and Hofeller might look to outer space, Waff looks to nature on Earth for inspiration.

The Way Forward

Meet the woman who stares at supermassive black holes. In April 2017, a worldwide network of scientists linked eight telescopes around the globe to create the Event Horizon Telescope (EHT). American astrophysicist Sera Markoff, who lends her knowledge and voice to this film, was part of the select group of people who worked to capture the first-ever image of a black hole in 2019.
