Wow, what a show we have for you tonight. Joining Alan, straight from the studio recording a new album with her band Killing Heidi, is the hugely talented Ella Hooper. Next to her is an Australian comedy legend, the man behind Aunty Jack, Graham Bond. The sensational Myf has Nova Brisbane breakfast host Meshel Laurie on her team and a man who wore the tightest pants in 70s Australian music, Les Gock from glam rockers Hush.

This week on another entirely adequate episode of Spicks and Specks Myf is joined by opera singer Rosario La Spina who tells us about a nasty wardrobe malfunction and comedian Denise Scott who tells us about a nasty medical condition she develops while riding the bike during Malvern Stars on 45. Alan's team features country artist Beccy Cole who recalls the story of touching herself in Iraq and English comedian Stephen K Amos who is one of Spicks and Specks most gracious winners. Also watch out for a guest appearance by the spooky, kooky and ooky Kransky Sisters. Sadly Judith Lucy couldn't join the Spicks & Specks team and had to pull out at the last minute due to illness.

This week on the ABC's only show called 'Spicks and Specks' Alan is joined by one of the stars of 'The Producers' Chloe Dallimore - who explains how to give yourself a black eye while dancing - and Canadian comedian Glenn Wool. Myf's team features dancer and actor David Page - who gets a bit of shock when he sees some footage of himself as a young man from The Paul Hogan Show - and Irish comedian Jason Byrne who gives us an insight into the mind of an elderly Irish woman when he's riding the bike during 'Malvern Stars on 45'. Chloe Dallimore proves she's certainly got and knows how to flaunt it when she closes the show with 'If You've Got It, Flaunt It' from The Producers.

Comedian and radio announcer Adam Richard shares his view of the obligatory performance style for Australian Idol hopefuls. Gird your loins for an outstanding Know Your Product topic that has the panel in a dither, stay strong for Frank wanting everyone to call Paul Kelly "Leaky", and brace yourself for an intense rendition of Christina Aguilera's "Beautiful" by the beautiful Adam Richard.

Our guests are über entertainer Denise Drysdale, comedian Denise Scott, singer/songwriter and ARIA nominee, Lior, and Stephen Gates, one pod of musical funsters, Tripod. Tonight a lone bagpiper puts the wind up our guests when they have to guess the songs he plays and the two Denises suspect they may share more than a name. Lior enlists some percussive assistance from the audience in Substitute, Myf tells us about a romantic approach in a Mildura nightclub that no girl could resist, and a disgruntled Gatesy musically laments having to share his playout with the end credits.

Our guests are oboe player Diana Doherty, Scared Weird Little Guy John Chaplin-Fleming, writer of the musical "Dusty" and showbiz connoisseur John-Michael Howson, and the slightly popular Hamish Blake. John Chaplin-Fleming tells us how he incited a riot at a Scared Weird Little Guys concert, Hamish is shocked to get one question correct, and just what the heck is John-Michael drawing in Cover Versions? And, succumbing to the antics of Hamish Blake, Diana Doherty giggles her way through a performance of the theme from the Star Wars Cantina scene.

Hilarity overload tonight with actor and singer Debra Byrne, actor and singer Jesse Griffin, actor and singer Andy Anderson and ..... Dave O'Neil. In the hirsute of happiness, we've unearthed some footage of an impressively follicled Andy singing with Running Jumping Standing Still, and Jesse fondly recalls his reggae phase featuring redhead dreads. Look What They've Done To My Song Ma proves a challenge for everyone except the audience, there are some truly weird album covers in Something's Missing, and Jesse leaves no philosophical stone unturned in his closing song.

Vying for victory are Canadian alternative country singer Martha Wainwright, Oz Idol contender Rob Mills, lovable lunatic Ross Noble, and just plain adorable Hamish Blake. In tonight's contest Martha and Ross lock horns and prove opposites don't necessarily attract, while Millsy dishes the dirt and comes clean about Paris Hilton. The teams wrestle with more silly scenarios in One Out of Three Ain't Bad, the Wainwright musical lineage is apparent when Martha sings in Substitute, and Millsy's closing tuneful tribute is a trip.

Tonight we test the smarts of beguiling Patience Hodgson from The Grates, urbane wunderkind Jonathan Biggins, venerable vaudevillian Val Jellay, and wickedly whimsical Frank Woodley. Val reminisces about the good and not so good old days in showbiz, and we learn about Patience's penchant for ribbons, sock puppets and skeletons. One Out of Three Ain't Bad features stories about John Cage and Screamin' Jay Hawkins, Jonathan trounces all comers in Substitute, and we wrap it all up with a truly classy closer that will have you straining to hear more.

Vocal gymnast Mal Webb takes Look What They've Done To My Song to a wonderfully strange new level, Please Please Tell Me Now resurrects a classic video that puts Anthony in a spin, and Myf shows how it's done when she sings in Substitute.

Taking a shot at glory tonight are longstanding fave Ella Hooper, cheeky comedian Akmal Salek, effusive music legend Robin Lumley, and house hottie Hamish Blake. Akmal reveals why Richard Branson won't be calling any time soon, and Robin treats us to a show-and-tell from his days in David Bowie's band. Our teams try to work out celebrity connections in Common People, the bike returns for a workout in Malvern Stars on 45, and keep a lookout for the finale which features some vintage Australian prog rock with a twist.

Mike, Myf and Frank contest the mark with admirable air-guitar action in Know Your Product, and bluegrass band Hard Drive yee-haa up a storm in Look What They've Done To My Song Ma. Mike reports on the endurance of "Up There Cazaly", Frank is tackled on an issue of crowd participation, while Tim and Adam play on in a touching and possibly out-of-bounds musical playout.

Common People gets the better of Myf's team, Beatrix Potter gets a rock and roll overhaul in Substitute, and our video-clip closer demonstrates a novel way to get back in the good books with the missus.
