Steven, Patrick, and Charles take a look back at struggles the team has been through since leaving Seattle over 6000 miles ago: disgruntled crew, short on money, the Russian military, changing the expeditions route, and heading into the ice.

A Snails Pace

The Ice

The expedition burns more fuel than anticipated and is forced to re-route. The hills along the coast begin to catch fire. Twenty-Five miles offshore the men get trapped by the Arctic ice with no way out.

The White Wolf

Behind schedule the men push themselves to near exhaustion riding for over 350 miles in the dead of the Arctic night. The coast is riddled with caves and hidden coves. At twilight the men run upon an White Arctic Wolf.

Calculated Risk

With the coldest weather the team has run into yet they decide to overnight in a barren cove. Low on food the men resort to eating Caribou. Steven and the fuel boat leave the rest of the crew at the camp and risk a 120 mile round trip journey for supplies.

Jenny Lin Island

The crew depart Cambridge Bay in unsettle weather and are forced to take refuge on Jenny Lin Island. The wind changes direction and the fuel boat along with all of the Jetski come crashing onto the shore. Steven's watercraft is sinking.

Gjoa Haven

An Arctic blizzard howls down on the crew. The men try to convince the local hunters and trappers to help them haul fuel North. Ice reports show an advancing ice cap. Freezing spray blanket the crew.

It's Sinking

Freezing spray covers the men. In the black of the Arctic night Steven's watercraft sinks. The weather report looks grim. High winds almost capsize the fuel boat. The Whalers boat goes adrift.

Polar Bears

For the first time this season the crew begin seeing Polar Bears. The weather continues to build and Steven has to make a decision on the fate of the watercraft.

Superstitions

Steven's watercraft continues to sink.The whaling boat captain gets a funny feeling about things.

Abandoned

The men must calculate if they have enough fuel and food to make it. The ocean begins to freeze right beneath the men's watercraft.

Locked In

Gasoline barrels rupture, the team all hunker down on the fuel boat, the weather moves in.

After The Expedition

For the first time ever the crew of Dangerous Waters round table the expeditions adventure this season and talk about some of the things that happened behind the scenes.
