Speaking at a launch in London Lib Dem leader, Ed Davey, called it a “manifesto to save the NHS” and pledged an £8bn package for health and care services in England. Davey also faced questions on the party’s stance on Europe. Plus, in the first of a series of interviews with party leaders, Nick Robinson speaks to Rishi Sunak. The Liberal Democrats were on the road with Ed Davey making his way north to Scotland, with the SNP’s John Swinney campaigning in Dumfries.
